The visitors scored a respectable 276 runs before being bowled out in 49.4 overs, showing that the choice paid off big time.
Captain Nigar scored the most runs with 70 off 72 balls, putting the team in first place. Fargana Hoque, the opener, also did a great job. He scored 50 runs off of 85 balls before being out to give others a chance. Dilara Akter quickly scored 29 runs off of 17 balls, and Jannatul Ferdus ended perfect on 46 runs off of 34 balls, adding important runs in the last few overs.
The bowling honours for Pakistan A went to Waheeda Akhtar and Umme-e-Hani, who each took three wickets.
Pakistan A lost both openers, Ayesha Zafar and Sadaf Shamas, with only 7 runs on the board early in the game as they tried to chase down 277. Dua Majid, who got 32 off of 58 balls, was the only player who put up a short fight. With a steady 26 off 46, Umme-e-Hani stayed unbeaten, but no one else in the group got to 10 runs. The home team was bowled out after only 109 runs.
